Dr. Talaat is the Vice President/General Manager of IPR Energy Group in Egypt.  Dr. Talaat has over 40 years’ experience in the oil gas industry and has vast experience in project management, work program planning and implementation, field development, reservoir management, production enhancement, cost optimization, operating efficiency, and resource allocation.  He is responsible for increasing reserves, production, and cash flow for existing assets and new ventures of IPR Energy Group’s E&P Business Unit and to oversee, manage, grow, and continually improve E&P business activities in Egypt and in the region.  Dr. Talaat received his Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Eng. Shaheeh is the Vice Chairman for Technical and Operational Activities for IPR Energy Group in Egypt.  Eng. Shaheen has extensive technical and operational experience in the Petroleum sector in both government JVs and partners organizations.  He was formerly the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Gemsa Petroleum Co., Amal Petroleum Co. and other Gulf of Suez JVs, including Zafco and Osoco.  He also served as Vice President and General Manager of Sahara Petroleum Co. His career includes many years of service at GUPCO and EGPC as Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir Engineering Manager.  He is actively engaged in SPE technical program committee’s activities in the Middle East/North Africa region. Mr. Shaheen earned his M.S. in Petroleum Engineering Economics from Cairo University.  He also holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University.

Mr. Yanilmaz is the Technical Director & Deputy General Manager for IPR Energy Group in Egypt.  Mr. Yanilmaz is a seasoned explorationist and proven oil finder with major discoveries in the Middle East and North Africa.  With over 35 years experience in the petroleum industry in exploration, development and operations in the MENA region and North America, he is responsible for technical management, planning and execution of all exploration and work programs for the organization’s Western Desert assets in Egypt, with emphasis on maximum exploitation of the Yidma/Alamein concession. Mr. Yanilmaz earned his M.Sc. Degree in Sedimentary Geology from the Middle East Technical University and his B.Sc., in Geology from the Middle East Technical University.

Mr. El Ramly is the Regional Finance Manager of IPR office in Egypt as well. Mr. El Ramly has over 40 years of financial experience in the Oil & Gas sector. He manages and monitors all finance activities of the company, related to the finance & administration functions.  Mr. El Ramly has earned his Bachelor of Commerce from The High Polytechnic Institute in Cairo.

Mr. Ibrahim Hassan is the Operations Manager of IPR Energy Group in Egypt.  Mr. Hassan has over 30 years worldwide experience in drilling, recompletion and workover activities, both onshore and offshore.  He has been instrumental in successful drilling of numerous vertical and horizontal wells in IPR’s assets in the Western Desert, Ras Shukheir, Sinai, Delta and Gulf of Suez of Egypt, and Syria.  Mr. Hassan is and has also served as the Operations General Manager of multiple IPR joint venture companies.  As the Drilling Operations General Manager, he was primarily responsible for all drilling and workover programs for IPR’s Alamein-Yidma concession in Egypt, in addition to IPR drilling activities in the Gulf of Suez, Syria and elsewhere.  Mr. Hasan earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University.

Mr. Hassan is the HSE Manager of IPR Energy Group in Egypt.  Mr. Aziz has over 36 years’ experience in the gas, oil and petrochemicals business. He is responsible for oversight of the company’s QHSE management system, including implementation of general policies, systems and procedures to ensure compliance with acceptable levels and performance according to industry approved codes, standards and best practices. Mr. Aziz earned a M.S. in Quality Management from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.  He also holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Alexandria University.
